Blogmas|Chocolate Cookies|Day19

For today's post my mum and I baked some amazing Chocolate Cookies! We found the recipe in a cookbook in our house and made a few changes to make it extra chocolaty.

200g butter
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
275g self-raising flour
75g cocoa powder
a little dash of milk
a large bar of milk chocolate (Dairy Milk)
a large bar of white chocolate (Milky Bar)
a large bar of dark chocolate (we added Dairy Milk Daim instead)

First Step: Set your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Second Step: Mix together the butter and sugar.

Third Step: Then crack in your egg.

Fourth Step: Add the rest of the dry ingredients.

Fifth Step: If your mixture is looking dry add in a little drop of milk. (optional)

Sixth Step: Break up all of your chocolate and add it in, using your hands to get the mixture into a dough.

Seventh Step: Line 2 trays with baking paper, break the dough into 10 small handfuls (we got 11) and place them onto your trays, making sure to leave plenty of room between each cookie since they spread in the oven.

Eighth Step: Put them into the oven for about 11 minutes

Ninth Step: Take your cookies out of the oven and leave them to cool for about 30 minutes. When they first come out they won't look cooked completely but that's how you want them to be.

Tenth Step: Enjoy your delicious cookies !

If you make these cookies then make sure to tag me in a picture on social media!
